To the japanese people
I’m from Cologne/Germany and as a long time lover of japanese film and culture

I’m deeply shocked about the series of catastrophes you are facing.

I just want to say “Ganbare” and try to keep your head up.

My thoughts and feelings are with you and I moan for your losses.

And I admire the disciplined behaviour of the japanese people,

which demonstrates to all the world,

what it means to be civilized even in face of greatest disaster.
