I have been learning Japanese for the past five years because I just simply adore the Japanese culture.

I have been waiting for a chance to go to Japan, and I finally got one

 - an exchange programme under my school. We were supposed to go on Monday (14 March),

but after the incidents on Friday (11 March), our school decided to cancel our trip.

Disappointed as we are, we understand the situation is very uncertain there.

We are fortunate that it happened before our trip and not during our trip.

God has protected us, and God will also protect the people of Japan.

We will continue to pray for the Japanese.

You guys survived WWII and the Kobe earthquake.You will survive this too.

Because everyone is praying for all of you.

Be strong. Don't lose hope.

日本の無事のために祈ろう

私はこの5年間日本語を学んできました、ただ単純に日本の文化が大好きだからです。

日本を訪れるチャンスをずっと待っていて、ついにその機会を得ました！

私の学校の交換留学制度です。私たちは3月14日月曜日に向かう予定でした。

でも、3月11日金曜日の出来事の後、私達の学校はこの旅を中止する事を決定しました。

みんなとてもがっかりしましたが、危ない状況だという事を理解しています。

運良く震災は私達の旅の前に起こり、旅の途中に被災することを免れました。

神は私たちを守って来られました、そして日本の人達をお守りします。

私達は日本のために祈り続けます。

あなた方は第二次世界大戦と阪神淡路大震災を生き抜いてきました。

今回だって乗り越えます。なぜなら皆が日本のために祈っているから。

強くいて下さい。希望を失わないで。
