フィンランドより ~Paivi Karkkainenさんより~

I'm from Finland and love your country and ppl very very much.

As do my teenage-children and husband too.

My love to you and the country and culture came from my father,

whom always praise the manners, the philosophy,
way of thinking, and the brightness in mind. 

I have few friends there- luckily we have met here in their vacations.

We have here watched and still watching this horrible nightmare,
where you are put to.

And we have prayed a lot starting Friday when this all started.

Nothing much we can do from here-
only that we donated money to Japanese Red Cross.

Our heart go with those who's lost family members and homes.

And thinking of lot how ppl manage to go on under that kind of pressure.

We are with you- even you cannot see us and you are with us- days and nights.

We are keeping praying for miracle- and miracles do happen as we all know.

You will never forget this- but I hope and wish for you all smoother road ahead.

Nightmares ends some day. So does this one too.

Try to keep the faith for the future!

私の10代の子供たちと夫もです。

私の日本人と日本と日本文化に対する愛は

礼儀正しさ、哲学、考え方、明るい心を常に褒めていた父の影響です。

私は運良く休暇で知り合った何人かの友人が日本にいます。

私達はあなた方の置かれているひどい悪夢を見つめ続けています。

全てが始まったあの金曜日から私達は祈り続けています。

ココからは何もすることができません。

ただ、日本赤十字に義援金を贈る事です。

私達の心はそれらとともに家族や家を失った方に向かっています。

私達はあなたと共にいます。あなたが私達と会う事ができなくても、

昼でも夜でも私達はあなたと共にいます。

私達は奇跡が起こる事を祈り続けます。

この悲しみを忘れる日は来ないでしょうーでも、
これからの将来に明るい道が開けることを祈っています。
悪夢には必ず終わりがあるから、この危機を脱出する日も必ずやってきます。
未来のために自信を持ち続けて下さい。
